Karlovy Vary, the town of healing springs, famous balneology, rich history, beautiful architecture and scenery. This world-famous spa lies in the valley of the River Teplá near its confluence with the River Ohře. The town was founded in 1350 by the Czech King and Holy Roman Emperor Karl IV.

Karlovy Vary, also called Carlsbad – the biggest spa resort in Czech Republic was founded by the Roman Emperor and Czech King Charles IV in 1358.
